View an RSoP report at the command line

To view an RSoP report at the command line

1. Open Command Prompt.
   
2. At the command prompt, redirect the output to a text file by typing:
   
   gpresult /z >gp.txt
   
3. At the command prompt, open the file by typing:
   
   notepad gp.txt

• To open a command prompt, click Start, point to All programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command prompt.
